Who We Are...
People First (Scotland) started in 1989. It is the independent self-advocacy organisation in Scotland. We are run by and for people with learning difficulties. We have a board of directors and it is made up only of people with learning difficulties. We have over 90 local groups all over the country. People First is a worldwide movement. We have close links to many of the People First groups in England and Wales. We are also involved in People First Europe and keep in touch with groups in other countries.
